Monthly Meetings:  
Join us on the 2nd Thursday of each month to
plan our upcoming events-  
7:00 p.m. at the Grace A Dow Memorial Library,
Conference Room C.  Everyone welcome!
2008 meetings:  Sept 11, Oct 9 & Nov 13.

Adopt-A-Highway:  Come out and help at a highway clean-up on
Saturday, September 13, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. We are meeting at the Shell
gas station at Meridian Rd and M-20.

We will clean the 2-mile stretch of M-20 from Meridian to 8 Mile, and this will be
followed by a BBQ at the Hovings house (3200 Riggie St.) Bring work gloves and
a water bottle. Vests and bags will be provided.

Focus on Life Dinner:  Thursday, October 2, 6:00 -  8:30 p.m.  Join us
at the Senior Center Banquet Hall at the Midland Community Center to learn
about the impact abortion has had on millions of women throughout the US.  
Dr. Theresa Burke, founder of Rachel's Vineyard and author of Forbidden
Grief- The Unspoken Pain of Abortion, will talk about her healing ministry to post-
abortive women.

Life Chain:  Sunday, October 5, 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.  Thanks to Midland
Christian Church for organizing this peaceful, powerful, silent witness to the evil
of abortion and the healing power of Jesus Christ.  Signs are available for pick up
